Economic Reforms in Uzbekistan: Achievements, Problems, Perspectives

Significant changes have taken place since the independence of the Republic of Uzbekistan. There have also been serious formal and informal barriers to the free movement of people and capital across borders. All this has deprived Uzbekistan of the opportunity to fully participate in the international division of labor and to establish competitive industries.
